撒拉族① 是中国少数民族之一，主要聚居在青海省循化 县。特殊的地理环境和强烈的语言认同，使循化县的撒拉话能得到 良好的维持。在汉语教育和普通话的普及，国际化和全球化的冲击 下，撒拉族面临语言选择和语言取向的抉择，撒拉语因而面临极大 挑战。
