Technological advancement has brought about significant development in the world of education. With digitalization, the education sector has evolved to provide students with flexible and more profound learning experiences. The e-learning platform MOOC was developed, which allows self-learning flexibility through interactive learning materials, such as original teaching videos, teaching slides, learning activities, and assessments. This study empirically examined the factors influencing student engagement in e-learning using MOOCs. A questionnaire was distributed through an online survey to the students who have experience using Corporate Finance MOOC in UiTM's Learning Management System (UFuture). The survey yielded 155 usable responses for analysis. The correlation analysis and multiple regression were used to analyze the study's influence on variables and hypotheses testing. The findings showed a significant relationship between the practicality and usefulness of MOOC's features with students' engagement. The results indicate that MOOC developers should continue to improvise the MOOC contents in terms of the ease of use and the usefulness of the platform to ensure that student engagement is maximized. The findings may provide valuable guidelines in transforming the traditional teaching and learning methodology into an entirely new way of engaging with students.
