The Journal for Scholarly Discourse is published by the Undergraduate Secretariat, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. JWS is issued four (4) times a year in March, June, September and December. For the year 2020, JWS is issued five times a year in January, March, June, September and November.
The main purpose of this publication is to highlight research findings in Malay and English in the field of Social Sciences and Humanities. Social science focuses on scientific research on society as well as individual relationships as community founders; whereas humanities studies emphasise critical assessments of the dynamics of identity and composition of human culture. Among the disciplines of research in the field of social sciences and humanities include anthropology, sociology, history, religion, economy, education, development sciences, political science, psychology, law, art, literature, language and linguistics.
