Applied History Journal of Merong Mahawangsa (AHJMM) is a refereed journal published yearly (July) by Universiti Utara Malaysia for the School of Languages, Civilisation and Philosophy. It contains articles on any writing related to pure history, applied history and public history. AHJMM also accepts articles pertaining to aspects of historical management which relevant to social sciences, nationhood studies, religion, civilisation, philosophy and thoughts which are parallel to the fields advocated promoted by Universiti Utara Malaysia. The primary purpose of this journal is to act as a channel for the publication of research work undertaken at Universiti Utara Malaysia as well as other institutions.
