Journal of Creative Practices in Language Learning and Teaching (CPLT) is an internationally refereed online journal published twice a year by Universiti Teknologi MARA Kedah (UiTM Kedah).
CPLT aims to provide a venue for academics, educators, planners and teaching professionals to share their findings, critical scholarship and creative practices that help to advance inquiry in language learning and teaching.
CPLT welcomes contributions on creative practices (but are not limited to) the following aspects:
second/foreign language pedagogy
language and technology
language assessment and evaluation
culture and language teaching

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:

The basic guidelines for submission are as follows:
- The manuscript must be in MS Word format. Language of Publication: English.
- The title should not exceed twelve words and must be in Times New Roman size 16.
- The text must be in Times New Roman size 12. The headings may be in Times New Roman size 14/12.
- Spacing should be 1.5 between lines. Double space between paragraphs.
- The beginning of each paragraph should be indented except those immediately following a heading, quotation, example, figure, chart or table.
- The preferred length is 3000-5000 words (excluding references, tables, notes). Longer articles are acceptable depending on merit.
- The APA Style (Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association. 6th ed., 2010) should be used for numbering, citations, and references to other publications.
- End notes (if any) must appear at the end of the article.
- An abstract of about 200 words should be included. It should be an informative summary of the article including the study’s purpose, subject information, methodology, types of data analyzed, main findings, and conclusions.
- Keywords (4- 6) should be provided beneath the abstract to encapsulate the principal topics of the paper.
- Tables, graphs, figures and charts should be typed and included as part of the manuscript.
- Acknowledgements (if any) should be placed before the References.
- Send in (a) complete text, (b) complete text minus the title page to allow blind review, (c) author declaration form, and (d) corresponding author and co-author’s biodata forms.
- The number of co-authors is limited to three (3) persons.
