Jurnal Skrin Malaysia is published annually by UiTM Press. It provides an avenue for faculty members, academicians from local, private and international universities, industrial professionals and practicioners to contribute and share their vast knowledge, ideas and opinions of the local and at times, international fields of film, theatre, animation, arts management and creative writing. This journal is a platform for intellectual networking and the briding of knowledge from the past, present and future of the creative industry.
Contributions
Academic contributions are sought from academicians, researchers as well as private institutions and industrial organizations. The themes can belong to any of the following:
- Original research work carried out by academicians, researchers within universities or industries.
- Qualitative or quantitative research related to the fields of film, theatre, animation, arts management and creative writing.
- Research documented articles with formal discussions related to film, theatre, animation, arts management and creative writing.
- Reviews, commentaries and special issues that are relevant and related to the field.
- Historical accounts and development of film, theatre, animation, arts management and creative writing.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:

Manuscripts
Manuscripts can be written in English or Malay and should not exceed 30 single-spaced pages using Times New Roman size 12, on A4 sized paper. Manuscripts intended for publication should be written camera ready and electronically in Microsoft Word, and submitted on-line to the editor. Details of the writer should include the following: title of paper; the author’s name and affiliation; a short abstract of between 100 – 300 words. At the end of the article, the author is to attach a short biography, inclusive of email address.
References
References can be in APA or MLA format.
