eJCSIT covers the broad areas of computer science (CS) and information technology (IT) in terms of both research and development endeavors. Authors are encouraged to submit original and previously unpublished articles to the journal for peer-review. They should highlight their contributions in terms of theory, methodology, design or implementation clearly in English. Case studies pertaining to relevant and contemporary issues in the aforementioned areas are also welcomed. Additionally, critical and constructive book reviews may be considered for publication. The acceptance rate for the most recent issue was 30%. The objectives of the journal are:
- to create an avenue for researchers and practitioners to publish their findings and
- expound their ideas;
to promote the sharing and public access of information;
- to encourage and increase the quality of postgraduate research.
The journal is published periodically based on the number of accepted submissions; usually between three to five articles per issue. There are no publishing fees and the review process takes approximately two months.
