ZULFAQAR Journal of Defence Management, Social Science & Humanities (JDMSSH) is published in English and Bahasa Malaysia. JDMSSH is open to authors around the world. It is currently published two times a year, i.e. in June and December.
JDMSSH publishes original papers and reviews covering all aspects of management, social science and humanities. The editorial objective of the journal is to facilitate knowledge enhancement related to studies in the following fields, but not limited to: Defence & Security, Strategic Management, Policy, Politics, History and other related Social Science subjects. All submissions will be reviewed at least by two reviewers in the field. The Journal is published bi-annually by the National Defence University of Malaysia (NDUM) Press.

GUIDELINES FOR AUTHORS
ZULFAQAR International Journal of Politics, Defence & Security (IJPDS) is published in English and Bahasa Malaysia and it is open to authors around the world. It is currently published two times a year, i.e. in June and December.
IJPDS publishes original papers and reviews covering all aspects of politics, defence and security. The editorial objective of the journal is to facilitate knowledge enhancement related to studies in the following fields, but not limited to: Defence & Security, Strategic Management, Policy, Politics, History and other related Social Science. All submissions will be reviewed at least by two reviewers in the field. The Journal is published bi-annually by National Defence University of Malaysia (NDUM) Press.

The manuscript submitted to IJPDS should not have been published elsewhere, and should not be under consideration by other publication. This must be stated in the covering letter.
- Manuscripts should be double-spaced with 1-inch (2.5 cm) margins. Use 11-point Cambria font.
- Manuscripts should adhere to the American Psychological Association (APA) style, latest edition.
- The title should be as concise as possible and should appear on a separate sheet together with name(s) of the author(s), affiliation(s), and the complete postal address of the institute(s).
- A short running title of not more than 40 characters should also be included.
- Headings and sub-headings of different sections should be clearly indicated.
- References should be alphabetically ordered. Some examples are given below:

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Authors are required to check off their submission’s compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
Manuscripts should be submitted in a single file (including text, notes, references, figures, and tables) in Microsoft word (*.doc) format to:

- Submission of a paper to the journal will be taken to imply that the paper presents original, unpublished work that is not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
- All pages of a manuscript should be numbered consecutively.
- Title should be short.
- The first page should contain:
i. the title
ii. the name(s), institutional affiliation(s) with complete postal address(es) of the author(s)
iii. an abstract of not more than 200 words and
iv. up to 5 key words.
- To facilitate communication between the authors, editors and publishers, the author should furnish an-email on the title page of the manuscript.
- Manuscript is to be written in English and should not be more than 8000 word in length.
- It should be in Cambria with 11pt front.
- The manuscript should be typewritten on one side of A4 paper only, single spaced, leaving ample margin (2.5 cm) at the top sides.
- Word templates are available for this journal.
- References, tables and figures should be placed on separate pages at the end of the manuscript and properly numbered.
- Figures should be provided in cameras-ready format.
